Silly question: did you ladies wear a bra under your gown in hospital?

Or did you just let it all bounce around?

It works if you work it; it sorta works if you sorta work it; and it doesn't work if you don't work it.

You won't care once you get there and no one else will either.

They make you go just the gown and you to surgery... helps with being catheterized.  Once that was gone and I took a shower, I put my own gown and undies on.  Just had to flash the belly after that.

This was a big concern for me too! I thought that I'd want to put my bra on the second I came out of recovery, but honestly, I felt so groggy and gross that I threw modesty out the window. My surgery was at 8:00 am and I got to my room at around 1:00 (my surgeon requires 2 hours in recovery). I finally wanted undies and my pj pants at around midnight. As for the bra, I just didn't care. Surprising, considering that my nurse tech was SUPER hot!! I did have to kick him out every time I had to pee though!

Seriously though, when I did put the bra on to go home, I found that it was a tight and uncomfortable because of gas and swelling. If you decide to take one, make it a sport bra. If I could go back, I'd do that!

I went commando until postop. I began walking the afternoon of the day I had surgery and I wanted underwear, but no bra. Nothing would prevent you from wearing it postop if you want to. Just not into surgery. Good luck with everything.

No bras, no drawers until I got dressed to leave the hospital.
