CIGNA REVERSED MY DENIAL

got a phone call Monday at 8:00 on the dot.  My surgery has been approved.  My representative stated that once she faxed over all of my doctors notes from all of the doctors I have been to and CIGNA saw how many of $$thousands$$ of my own dollars I have spent attempting to make the best out of my first gastric surgery they  reversed their decision and approved it.  Since they were not willing to do it because their was a failure of the surgery itself we were just going to apply by completing the requirements as if it were a new surgery.  But THANK GOD I didn't even have to go through all of that!!! So I am waiting on the scheduler to call me and I am expecting that I will be having surgery no later than the second week of August!!!!

YAYYYYY!!!!!  Nothing better than getting that decision reversed!  I was initially denied, so I know the feeling!

Thanks I wasn't ready for the denial. My 1st surgery I sent a packet away in the mail and they sent me a surgery date. I actually met my surgeon as I was being wheeled into the OR but that was way back in 2000. Lol I had no clue what the doctor was going to do to me.

WOO-HOO!!!
could it be that insurance companies are actually seeing the benefit to WLS??
And for them I mean money staying in their pockets long run.

That's INCREDIBLE!! Congratulations!!!

Insurance companies can be such a pain in the butt but occasionally they do right.

You my friend are one of the very lucky ones.

Congrats Again,
