That is the "compliment" I used to be paid , "you have such a pretty face", translation,
the rest of you is hideous, what a shame. Well guess what, no one says that anymore! I do get "you are beautiful, you look like you did in high school, you look so young!". And you know what? I'll take it! 138 lbs down in 8 months, 9 lbs to goal. SO happy!

I hope I am where you are in 8 months. I get that complement all the time, or you have such a great complexion. Last time I had dinner with my parents an old lady came over and complemented how attractive my little brother was but when my mother said we have attractive children and introduced me she just gave me an ugly look and went on about my brother. Pinching his cheek and talking about how all the ladies must fight over him. It will be nice not get throes looks anymore.

Wow, that was rude of her! People can be so cruel. Sadly, we've all experienced it. I had a saying at work, "it doesn't matter how well you perform, or not perform, what matters most is.... how well you look!" Seriously, they would promote "Barbie Dolls" with 2 feet of vacant space in their brain, and I was always overlooked.

I was always told my performance is impeccable, and always called on for special projects and to train, so really.... what was the problem? Anyway... whewwww! Alrighty then, shaking off my flashbacks to sorrows kitchen. LOL
