I just started a 10 day pre-op liquid diet.   Other than unjury protein drinks and broth, what did you eat?  This is pre-op.

I could have one meal each day of 4 oz lean meat and 2 cups of vegetables (low carb).  No starches and carbonation.

Good luck to you.

I was allowed 2 shakes and one  lean cosine meal ( under 300cal ) or a home made meal of about the same cal,and had a 1/2 fruit added after having headaches  , or low blood sugar

I had to do the preop diet twice my surgery was postponed 3 days before surgery due to a skin infection

I was not allowed any solid food.  Up to 5 protein drinks per day, all the water and broth I wanted.  It was the worst part of the process.  It was easier after the fourth day but still incredibly hard.

My pre-op diet was 5-6 protein shakes a day.  So.. I had 5-6 protein shakes a day.  My favorite is Optimum Nutrition Double Rich Chocolate made with unsweetened almond milk.  I still have one of these for breakfast every day.
