So in the past week or so noticing some hair loss when I brush my hair...I did loose a bunch when I was losing falling out in clumps but it stopped a while ago. Now my weight has stablized for the most part but suddenly I am loosing hair again.not nearly the amount I was loosing but more than what I typically loose just brushing my hair..a good handful each time..what do you guys think vitamin problem, thyroid, or just normal?

When is your next set of labs due? Check vitamins and thyroid but it could be normal...some of us just lose more than others.

Be careful adding a B complex and a Multi...you can overdose on B6 as a result.

Too much B6 causes neuropathy (nerve damage)
Too little B12 causes neuropathy.

The Tolerable Upper Intake Level (the maximum that can be taken from all sources, including the diet, without causing significant toxicity) for adults is 100 mg daily. It is actually fairly easy to exceed the maximum dosage, as many supplements contain 100 mg (or more) of vitamin B6.

Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6)

The daily recommended dietary allowances (RDAs) of vitamin B6 are: Males 14-50 years, 1.3 mg; Males over 50 years, 1.7 mg; Females 14-18 years, 1.2 mg; Females 19-50 years, 1.3 mg; Females over 50 years, 1.5 mg

That's why I never added B6 to my list but did add the B12. I was already taking more than the normal dose of B6 by taking two multi's a day.

nope didn't know that! I actually did that based on my GP recommendations but she doesn't always know what she is talking about...I will have to look at my B6 and see how much I am taking..

Update: I guess I have been taking 8mg of B6 when I totaled everything not including any food sources..way above the recommendations but still way below the toxicity limit too it seems?

my hair loss started late, more like the 7th month instead of 3-5 but it is still going on at over a year.  I have new growth which is almost 2" but I am stil losing hair.  After my 2 next surgeries, I may be bald.
My labs are good so I don't think it is that and what is there looks and feels very healthy.
