"I was almost glad that I didn't have a private room. During the 5 days I was there, I got to meet 2 others who'd had WLS that I could talk to. The only thing about the surgical floor we were on was that it covered all surgeries, not just WLS, so I was lucky, because I could have had someone who was having heart surgery or whatever, as my roommate. The ladies who shared my room were nice people, and their guests were not too loud or rude.(I actually had just one roommate, but she left and another replaced her partway through my stay. The rooms are semi-private; 2 beds)RE parking. On the day of pre-op & day of surgery the staff will validate your parking. The day you get out, if you show your hospital bracelet to the parking staff, they'll waive your parking fee. I got to come home because I live less than 2hours away from the hospital, otherwise I would have had to stay in town at a hotel until my first post-op visit."
