I am scheduled for a seminar at St V's Monday. What was your experience like. Were you happy with your stay and the doctors. How are you feeling? How long did the journey from start to finish take?

Hi, everyone -- this is Audrey -- posting from the other side (not heaven) -- thank God! It's been five days since my surgery on 7/18. I wish I could say it was painless -- it wasn't -- but I was hoping. It is almost miraculous that one can go from feeling half dead to almost normal though. I still have pain when I breath deeply (yes, I'm using my breathing machine); and I still have pain when I move from one position to another (yes, I'm taking my pain meds still), and I'm tired after showering, but overall, I'm fine. Not eating much, but I still think about food -- will that pass? I hope so -- at least it's stuff like tuna fish, and chicken! I want to thank everyone who sent me their good wishes, and now I hope I will be able to be supportive to others who are on the road.
