Successful lap surgery by Dr. Scott on May 21st with no complications, other than some irritating asthmatic shortness of breath stuff. I'm post-op Day 4 and this is the best day so far. The Resident on Call insisted I check into the ER today because of fever and shortness of breath yesterday and last night. I never made it past the Triage Nurse because the ER was so busy on this holiday. I left after over 2 hours but I feel fine and the nurse said all vital signs were good. I didn't wait this long and put this much trust in God for anything to go wrong, and I knew that, but my family was insistent that I do in anyway. Can't say enough positives about Dr. Scott/Dr. Schirmer's medical team. First rate care all the way -- they sure kept me busy.
