"I liked Dr.Felix right from the "get go". His office is very busy, but I found that to be very encouraging. He has done over 500 RNY surgeries laproscopically. He is not a novice! His office did all the work required to get my insurance approval. I like the fact that Dr. Felix has a very structured post op program that you must agree to follow. It gives me the sense that he really cares about his patients. He isn't in it just for the money. All of his staff that I have met so far are exceptionally nice. Dr. Felix will not do the surgery unless you attend an informational seminar and then write a letter to confirm that you understand the risks and the life time commitment that you must make to succeed and remain healthy. I haven't had the surgery yet, but I could care less about his bedside manner. For those of you who suggest he is rude or rough, just be thankful you were around to experience his bedside manner! It means he did his job and got you to the other side. On a scale of 1-10, so far, I give him and his staff a 15!!"
