Hi I am 5 days post op and really glad it's over.I'm writing to Thank all of you for all the help and the answers that you so readily gave to me.The first and foremost person I have to Thank would be my Husband Hans what a wonderful person he truly is and he never left my side other then to help another wls pt we know.Let me also say I would not do this again ever so I pray that I will relearn good eating habits and have learned from my past eating habits.Ok so the things I was most worried about (not the surgeon) he was highly recommended )was the NG tube up my nose when I woke up and drinking the gastrograffin the following day...Well I worried for nothing both were a piece of cake hands down.I have pain thru the feeding tube site that even the pain medication isn't helping but thats the only discomfort I have,but its enough that I wouldn't do it again.I was afraid right before going into surgery and wish I had of had someone else putting me asleep other then the one I had,(I was not impressed)Anyway I will give more details after I am up and about more. In all things Remember,that the one above loves you,that He holds us all in his loving arms,He knows each of us by name.He said anything you ask for in "my name" will be given to you.So in His name I pray for you,that you be given strength, endurance,love,peace and most of all long life.In Jesus' name. When you wake up and see the faces of your loved ones in the recovery room,know that you have made it.Thank Him,Know that you have been blessed to see and to live out the rest of your days with the ones you love and the ones who love you.....Knowing that He loves you too.
