"Dr Freeman = "The Energizer Doctor," "Wild Man," "Zippity-Do-Dah". Just a sampling of the many monikers for the Man with the Calling. I'd heard a lot about Dr. Freeman in my pre-op research, most of it wonderful, and attributed the widespread, active fan-base to true Southern loyalty. I mean, he's just a doctor, right? At the mention of his name, I got smiles, stories of triumph over lifetime struggle, and enthusiastic encouragement on my own journey. "Tell Dr. Freeman I said 'Hey'," they all said, "and God bless him!"
Then, I met him. He whooshed into the seminar, speaking to each person with a big smile, sometimes a hug, a touch. He made us real. He let us be us. The fight against the system was over. We were not alone.
Dr. Freeman pulls no punches. He lets you know up front and immediately that YOU are the boss, it is YOUR decision, and here is the gameplan. He trusts God, and you need to trust that God is working through him.
I'd do it again today.
