Happy New Year everyone! It's been months since I've updated, but I've been crazy busy. I had a sudden death of a close friend to contend with in October. Then a tummy tuck and mastopexy in November, and breaking up with my live in boyfriend just after Christmas. So my life has been keeping me busy. I'm down to 161 pounds, and that's even with the monthly weight gain. I'd like to get under 150, but how much under I don't really care. I'm now comfortably wearing a 12 and can get in some 10s. I'm very pleased with my tummy tuck and moderately pleased with my new boobs. I did underestimate though the magnitude of the surgery. No one should go into it lightly. It is a very major surgery. Well, that's about all i have to report. I hope everyone is doing well.

Ali - HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! Look at how far you've come - all the things that have changed in just a year's time. Without the surgery, you would still be MO and possibly heavier than when you started. What a wonderful gift we've been given. Continued good health!

364 days post op!!! Tomorrow is my 1 yr anniversary and I'm down 80# from the surgery, 117# from my highest weight!! I'm very excited! I've also lost 120 1/4 inches!! I'm wearing 11/12 and 13/14s depending on the brand. I still haven't heard anything about the tummy tuck, so I'm continuing to keep my fingers crossed. I'm hoping that I can be in the 160s by the time of the surgery. (I weigh 174 right now). Anyway, just wanted to update anybody who reads this. Take care!!

I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.~*~Hugs~*~

11 months out. 177. That's down 77 since the surgery, 114 from my highest weight. I lost 1.75" this month, 119" since the surgery. I like only weighing and measuring once a month. Although I gained half a pound over the course of a month, I'm relatively pleased b/c I have been eating horribly. I need to stop with the Dr Peppers!! I have also been SOOO busy with work that I've not been working out as much as I was. I have gotten in 2 days in the last several days though. If I can run every other day, I'll be happy with that. Hope all is well with everybody. Good luch on upcoming surgeries. Oh.. btw.. I submitted my documents to insurance for my tummy tuck. Wish me luck.

Week 45. I've decided that I'm not going to weigh and measure every week anymore. I got on the scale and it said that I gained 5 pounds this week. Well, that's just impossible. I think this new birth control patch that I'm on is messing with my body, and it's just disheartening to get on the scale and have something like that kicking you in the gut. So I think I'm only going to weigh and measure myself right after I'm finished with my period, so I'll post again in 3 weeks. Take care.

Week 42... I LOST 3 POUNDS THIS WEEK!!!! I'm so excited!! I also lost 1 inch in excess of the amount that I had gained last week. I'm enjoying running now. I ran for 18 consecutive minutes on Sunday! I've never done that before in my life! I'm starting to step up the speed again to see how far I can get. I'm hoping that I don't run into another plateau until the 160 area. I sat at that weight for many years, so i'm thinking there may be some resistance there, just like there was at 180. 176!!!! I'm so excited.
