"Dr. Bistolarides was very professional and I liked him from the get-go. He asked me several times if I had any questions and he did get me in for my surgery ASAP due to a canceled surgery I had with another doctor on staff. I feel real confident with the doctor and his expertise with this particular surgery. He is the chief of surgery at BTC in Ypsi, because he does have the most years there (this was his comment). I liked that he was not feeding his ego. He seemed well versed and I liked his mannerism. Thank You BTC for giving me this doctor!!!!
My surgery is over and I thank my fine Doctor Bistolarides. I have no complications and have been home 24-hours now. I feel good. Sure, I don't sleep much and I am sore, but that is not so bad for the first week. His bedside manner was sufficient and he spent much time telling me what to do and what not to do. I rate him a 10 overall on competitence.
After care -- he noticed I had a gas problem and I new my abdomen was sore, it was the gas, so he did a follow-up x-ray and sent me home with meds. That is great! I am feeling fine now. After my hyster. years ago they did not check me and I went home in extreme pain and had to call emerency. So BTC does look at all aspects when they release you to go home! Thanks BTC!"
