7/14/03 - I'm home!! The surgery went without a hitch. I've had very little pain, just alittle discomfort from the drain. I'm trying to get in all my protein shake and water every day. I'm somewhat gassy and have constant diareha, but that is to be expected. I've been mixing the protein with skim milk, so today I decided to try lactaid and soy milk to see if that will help with the gas. In 2 days my sutures and drain come out. I'll post with my weight loss on that day. THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR KIND THOUGHTS, WISHES, CONCERN AND PRAYERS!! IT IS BECAUSE OF YOU AND ALL THE KNOWLEDGE YOU HAVE BESTOWED ON ME THAT I AM NOW ON THE LOSING SIDE!
