Hello there, I also had my wls on 12/6/02. And it was the best thing I could of done for myself. as of today I have loss 100lbs. I had no complications. and have been ejoying my journey. Hi Cheryl, Glad to hear you are doing better. For me it's slow. That's until they take these darn tube and staples out. CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS? It is preventing me from doing alot of things. Oh well didn't want to air. You take care and have a speedy recovery. God is Good. Hugs

Congrats, Cheryl! Hang in there...keep fighting the good fight. My surgery is 2/12, also at Fairfax Hospital. Any feedback (good, bad, or ugly) that you'd like to share would be welcome. Keep your chin up and your spirits high! God bless.

Hi everyone, this is Cheryl and I am 12 days post-op. Doing good now although last week was not so good. I had my first doctor's visit on Monday, December 16, and I am down 16 pounds (WOW!) God has been so good. This was not a piece of cake and no one really said it would be but I am thankful for the Blessing. I continue to get better each day. Tomorrow is walking outside! Keep me in your prayers. I thank you all for prayers and concern. GOD is Good!!!
