"My surgeon is Dr. Svendsen at the Park Nicollet clinic. I have met with him once and found him to be very warm, confident and understanding. He is very proficient with LAP RNY which is a big plus for me. This whole process at Park Nicollet has been a very positive experience. I have a great nurse, Barb, and she responds very quickly to any and all questions that I have. I had previously had started the process with another local surgeon who does not do LAP's and I believe was more inclined to promote VGB's than RNY's. I found that surgeon's process much to drawn out and felt somewhat like a cattle in a large herd.
My meeting with Dr. Svendsen was very informative. Of course, by that time I had been given this website and others to get more information on the surgery and entire process so I was quite informed already by the time that I met him.
