5/28 Hi, just wanted everyone to know how well I am doing. I have not had any meds for pain since morning after surgery which is a blessing. I came home from the hospital on Saturday and have been doing exceptionally well since. I'm using Formula 80 protein drink and enjoy the chocolate the most. It has 25 grms of protein plus I mix it with milk that has 10 grams per cup so I'm getting a total of 35 grams per drink. I have to say I am getting antsy wishing I could start to have some solid food. I've got some cottage cheese and have had tomato soup which is such a luxury. I wish everyone a speedy recovery as I have had. Again, I have been blessed

Hi! All, Bobbi had her surgery yesterday and she is doing well. I visited her today, in the Farr building, rm 522, at the Beth Israel/Deaconess hospital, in Boston. She's glad to have the N/G tube out. She is using minimal pain medication, as she says she does not need much. I did get a chuckle out of her, so that's a good sign. They got her up to walk at 10:30pm, last night and she was up and in the chair, for a while, this am. I am impressed with her recovery. She asked me to post and say "Hi" to all. Kathy-Bobbi's Angel

I am also having surgery on 5/21/03. I wanted you to know that you are not alone on that day, and I will say a prayer for you. We will go to the losing side togather and rely on God to keep us in his hand.
