The hospital was super clean, put me in with another patient that I picked prior to my surgery. I met someone at the pre-surgury clinic and we hit it off so we both asked to be placed together. this was great because we still contact each other 2 yrs later."

changed only to better- heard others say he didn't have good bedside manner ? I thought he was awesome myself. He was well recommended by lots of people who I researched about surgery from. I was scared and worried the day I went in for surgery. I met a nurse who had the surgery 22yrs ago with Dr. Tanaka; she said he was the best.
Dr. Tanaka; was very caring, supportive and even funny. he made both my husband and myself very comfortable before and after surgery keeping us both updated on everything.
His office staff were all great.
future patients should know he is one of the best surgeons and that is worth more than sugar and spice and everything nice.
aftercare- Dr. kept me longer in the hospital because I had many health risks that the other 9 patients who went in the same day didn't have. You are not a cookie cutter patient. you will leave when your dr feels your ready to go home and not a day sooner......respect that judgement!
He made sure I knew all of the risks and what I had to do to change my life for the best.
I think Dr. Tanaka is a great Surgeon and if your lucky enough to get him your looking at wonderful care.
Surgical Competence was first priorty for me and I was lucky enough to understand a great mind and respect the bedside manner of a surgeon who treated each patient as his only at the moment he is with you..
