"I had a wonderful stay. I only had problems with one nursing assistant. She snapped back once and I bit. She spent the rest of my stay kissing up. One nurse was rather talktive when it came to pain meds...not wanting to give too much. I just let her talk. If they are prescribed to me I'm not going to let myself feel anypain. I'm on pain meds daily and have been for over 2 years. I have Fibromyalgia and everyone response differently to pain management. So this is something I've dealt with before surgery. I just let people talk and say what they want. When it comes down to it...it really doesn't matter as long as you have a good relationship with your doctor. They are the ones treating you not the nurses. I have to say Dr. Weaver and her staff are the best. They gave me the knowledge and made sure I knew what I was getting into. I can't thank them enough for the education in having this surgery. Out of the whole experience Dr. Weaver and her staff were the BEST experience....well until the pounds start melting off. Then the weight loss will be."
