"My only problem during my stay came from a nurse (who normally worked on another floor). She came in at 3:30 AM and gave me a bath and took out my catheter after surgery the day before. I felt like that was too EARLY, and still don't understand why it was done at 3:30 in the morning????? I've had many hospitalizations and never had this happen. My daughter was sleeping in the room that night and thought it was strange too. Oh well, maybe she just thought it was 8:30 am and not 3:30 AM."
"This is a very busy hospital, but they have caring employees. The only problem I encountered was getting some medication my doctor had ordered in a timely manner from the pharmacy, and this only happened one time."
"When I went to my seminar with Dr. Freeman, I knew he had previously had WLS himself. However, before I met him, they showed us a video, and when I saw him on the video, I thought \"well, he really hasn't done that well with it\". So, I was really surprised when he walked into the room!!! I felt like he knew what it was like to be overweight, so I felt more at ease with him. He is a WONDERFUL person and physician!! I am a Christian, and felt like GOD had led me to him for this reason. I live in Georgia, and he is in Anniston, Alabama, but he is well worth the drive!! Many of his office staff have also had WLS, and this was very impressive, however, there were 2 nurses visiting that work at the hospital where he does the surgery. One was there for her daughter to have the surgery, and the other for herself. They both work directly with him, and couldn't praise him enough. So, I felt like that was enough for me, so I selected him to do my surgery. Think of how many people you've ever worked with that you could say great things about! LOL He even has a self pay package, that gives a TOTAL COST for hospital, physician, etc, which I think is VERY REASONABLE! Fortunately for me, I am on Medicare (age 65) and they covered mine due to other medical problems I had. NOTICE I SAID HAD----I NO LONGER TAKE ANY MEDICINE!! On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the highest, I'D RATE DR. FREEMAN AND HIS STAFF a 30+. They are ALWAYS THERE TO HELP. "
