William, Jr. Roll
"Dr. Roll was pretty much as I expected from other comments on this site, except that he was more personable and I was impressed that he took almost two hours at the end of the day to answer my two pages of typed question that my wife and I had for him. Granted, some of the answers were "I don't know, everyone reacts differently to the surgery", but he gave many examples of his patients and he patiently addressed all of my concerns. He made some candid comments about other doctors that I had been researching, but insisted that I continue to check them all out, which I did, and I came back to him. My only disappointments were that he did not know much about this or other web sites and he rarely visits the 'Staple Club' meetings that most of his patients faithfully go to. I am scheduled for Jan 17, 2003 and can't wait to get far beyond the other side. "
