Hans Schmidt

"My first impression of Dr. Schmidt was as the seminar at Hackensack. He was well-dressed, calm and quite knowledgeable. The fact that he found it easy to share the aspects of all of the surgery types in words a \"lay-person\" could understand was truly amazing. He did not speak \"over your head.\" He was willing to answer questions from any/everyone who had one. I was astounded that after what must have been a busy surgical day he was willing to stay in the auditorium until everyone crowded around him was satisfied. I made my consultation with him immediately. (Even though it seemed the auditorium was filled Dr. Trivedi's patients. Where is the Schmidt fan club???)rnrnAt my consultation, he was professional, concerned and willing to take all the time needed to answer all of my questions no matter how insignificant. My surgery was scheduled for a convenient time. Unfortunately, I had to change my date due to a scheduling conflict, but the good news is that I was banded on Friday, July 7th. The day I got to restart my life!!rnrnI went for my first class today, six days after surgery. Kathy his office manager is awesome. The rest of the staff is professional and friendly. Alicia who was my \"savior\" was responsible for having my insurance company approve me in only TWO DAYS!!! rnrnIf you have not made a decision and are trying to find the \"right doctor\" for you, I would highly recommend Dr. Schmidt. His surgical expertise, bedside (well, I guess stretcher-side) manner was understanding and caring.rnrnI would rate Dr. Schmidt A++ and you will, too."
