Okay....update!!!

Okay, all my info was submitted on December 1st to Cigna. They required me to take 2 other psych test so I have to go back to lexington for that...sucked considering it is a 180 mile ride one way.. But whatever they want! So I completed the test and Cigna contacted me and said that I am approved for the surgery but since I had just had my nicotene test done on November 24th that I had to wait 60 days to have it prior to having that test done.... I was Heated!
So a couple days later I got my authorization in the mail that said I am APPROVED and guess what........... She is not making me do the 60 day thing....... I FREAKING LOVE HER........... So that is Awesome!
I called the office of my surgeon and we went over all my testing and everything was great and she said that if I was ready that we could go ahead and set up my surgery.......of course I was ready, this crap has had me on tilt since day one....lol!!
So my new Birthday is January 5th, 2009 @ 7:30! I am so excited and I hope and pray that everything goes great for me. I have 3 little boys and a husband that needs me! Keep me in you prayers.

Well just a quick update. I had to go back to Lexington on the 24th because they forgot to put my nicotene test on my blood work and my insurance requires it. So i went and got that taken care of. My info will be submitted to Cigna on Monday December 1st (hopefully) since that test is all they are waiting on........ So that is it for now, just still hanging with my pre-op diet, dealing with head hunger and emotional hunger and taking them on and dealing with them. It is hard, but I am doing it!

Today i went back to St Joes and I had my appointment with the shrink. I had my lab work done, an EKG and EDG which i have been freaking out about for the past week, and it was for nothing everything went fine. And also good news is since i started my pre-op diet on friday i have lost 3 pounds! So that made my day!

Today was my appointment to see the internist and the excercise physiologist. And i also have to start my diet that i will continue until surgery. Pretty reasonable diet, I can do it. So hubby and I stopped by walmart on the way home and grocery shopped for my new menu! Lots of fun! I go back on Monday November 17th for my pysch eval, EKG, and EDG. After that I go on Wednesday November 19th for the Nutrition Seminar. Then they submit to the insurance co.

Well tonite was my seminar and everything went really well. They said they will be contacting our insurance about the procedure and will call us with our next appointment.
