Well let's see.............I had the lap band removed on 12/17/2009 and I'm getting the sleeve on 3/15/2010.  The lap band just didn't work for me, hopefully the sleeve will be a better tool.

Hello Everyone --------------------- I'm finally down to 189 pds. I need to loose alot of weight but it will take time..........

Its September 28,2008 and I think I know why I'm stalling. I'm only 198 and when I went into surgery I was 219 (5 months ago). I'm a diabetic and I'm extremely insulin resistance. So I have an appointment to go see a diabetes specialist next week and hopefully they can solve and/or fix my issues. Anything to jumpstart this weight loss.......

I try to udate my profile every now and again. I'm starting to loose some weight!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah .... It's about time. I went to the doctors on July 1st and I weighed 213, well as of today I weigh 205. So in 3 weeks I've lost 8 pds. I can't wait to get under 200 pds. I'm extremely tight but I can handle it. I'm 3 weeks out from my last fill and its starting to loosen up a tad. My band is very finicky (sp). Some days I can eat 1 1/2 cup per meal and other days its just a few bites, but man the things that I'm not suppose to eat go down with ease (like cookies :)) Tomorrow is the Texas M & G and I'm so excited about meeting everyone......

Well today is May 31 and I received another fill on Thursday. I had another 2cc's placed in my band. That's a total of 7ccs in a 10cc band. I definitely feel restriction. I can barely drink liquids. But I'm loving this thing called restriction. Man my throat gets tight when I eat ice cream. So I'm going to eat nothing but soup for the next couple of days. I only lost 2 pds in a month. I'll keep you posted................

Well today is May 6th and I had my surgery on April 4, 2008. I had my first fill on May 2, 2008. They placed 3cc in my band because the surgeon placed 2ccs in my band at the time of surgery. So now I have 5cc in a 10cc band and I don't feel any restriction.
Oh did I mention that I haven't lost any weight at all......I'm going to give it 6 months and if I'm still at this weight then I'm going to have a revision surgery.....:( : ( :(

HAPPY New Year...........

I am in my 4th month of my 6th month supervised diet,. I have an appointment in January, and then one in February.  The dietician said that I have to have one last appointment the first week of March just to be sure then they will send my information off to the Insurance company.........
Hopefully I will have the surgery in March..........
