Hi Christine, I hope you don't mind a response from someone that is only a few months post-op, If this were me I would try to get back to the basics. Up your daily protein and increase your exercising. Log all of your food, don't forget about fitday.com this is a good tool to track what you eat. If it were me and I could afford it I would go back to the dietician I worked with when I first had my surgery and see if he/she could set up a program for you. Get support!! HELLO EVERYONE OUT THERE IT HAS BEEN A VERY LONG TIME AND WELL OVER DUE.....I HAVE HAD A FEW SET BACKS I STARTED TO EAT THE WRONG THINGS AND GAINED MORE WEIGHT..I RELLY DIDN'T THINK THIS WOULD HAPPEN TO ME I THOUGHT I COULD HANDLE THIS I JUST KNEW THT I COULD DO THIS BUT I HAVE FAILED I MUST BE HONEST I'M NOT GIVING UP I WILL TRY TO GET BACK WHERE I WAS I HAD LOST SOME 75LBS. AND THIS WAS A YR. AGO ACTUALLY JULY WAS MY ANNIVERSARY DATE...I STOPPED THE PROTEIN SHAKES I GUESS WHAT I NEED TO HAVE SOMEONE HLP. ME OUT I RELLY DIDN'T WANT TO TAKE THIS ROUTE I WANTED TO MAKE THE CHANGES ON MY OWN OR AT LEAST I THOUGHT I COULD, BUT I SEE I WILL NEED SOME ADDITIONALD ASSISTANCE IN THIS MATTER...JUST TO SAY A FEW MORE THINGS I DO EXERCISE I WALK AT LEAST 3 MLS. 5 DAYS A WEEK I DRINK A GREAT DEAL OF WATER I HAVE THING FOR SWEETS TOTALLY OUT OF CONTROL...BUT I'M WORKING ON /IT ANY SUGGESTIONS...WAITING FOR SOME HLP... I'm a happy Angel this morning...yesterday was a different story...a year ago yesterday my mom passed away in her sleep...I dealt with it better than I thought I would...well I think I did, anyway !!! Ok, but this morning, I'm hearing music...ok not really music..but it was Christine's voice on my voicemail...saying she had arrived home and all is going well..Praise God !! It had a been a couple of days since I was able to make contact with her and I was a bit worried. Again, Christine is home and doing well..Be Blessed Everyone ..

A happy, joyful Angel coming in for a soft landing !!! I spoke with Christine's husband first, then to Christine herself !! I was too excited. ok, the good part is Christine was moved to a room this evening and was able to talk to me and let me know everything went well. She's in pain of course and very sore. She had a hernia repaired along with her bypass, but she sounded good..I know that first day is really really rough, but I will check back with her tomorrow....I can go to bed a happy Angel tonight. Everyone Be Blessed....God loves you and so do I.
