Hi there!  I am 43 years old and have been fat all of my life.  I have dieted and lost, gained more back, lost that, lost more and then gained it all back plus some.  Over and over again.  Even when I was working out at the YMCA 4-5 times a week, I never really got down below a certain weight and that was it.  I felt better, but wasn't really losing like I wanted to.  I have tried Weight Watchers, the Grapefruit Diet, counting calories,  counting fat grams, counting number of chews, etc., etc.  I have tried many different things on the market to help me lose weight as well, including Fastin, Orlistat and Hoodia patches.  Nothing has ever worked and helped me maintain my weight loss.  I am currently in the process of starting the evaluations that my insurance company requires me to have before I can get approved for laproscopic bypass surgery.  I am ready to do this and hope all goes well for me.  I would really appreciate hearing from others out there in my situation as well as those that have been through the surgery.  I always love meeting new people!
