Donald B. Graham

"Dr. Graham didn't leave a great first impression, but I am glad I stuck around. My first appointment started off dismally. I had to wait over 1.5 hours as he'd had emergency surgery, then when I first saw him I was so disappointed. He was quiet, somewhat aloof, and just not what I expected. Then we started to talk.rnI was so pleasantly surprised. He took the time to listen to me and to explain the different options available to me. He explained what and how things would progress and even drew diagrams. We talked over the pros and cons and he wasn't offended when I asked if he'd ever \"lost\" anyone. Instead he answered each question truthfully and completely. When he left the office, I was confident in him and assured that I was making a good decision. rnA real plus to the experience is Sheryl, his nurse. She is so good about answering questions, working with the insurance, fielding my concerns and just making me feel special. rnIf you are looking for a dynamic, stong doctor, perhaps Dr. Graham is not your doctor. If you are looking for a competent, confident doctor who will treat you with respect, this is your doctor. rnSioux Valley Hospital has been very good with their pre op classes and post op support groups. All in all this has been a good experience."
