Hi it has been 1 year sept 29th what a year!! i have learned so much ,i know weight loss surgery is harder then anyone could know unless you have done it! i fight every day! 90 pounds gone i weight 147 soooo happy but still have 13 lbs or so to go been stuck here for a while have alot of lose skin i wanted to be 100 lbs gone. and i know its me stopping me! i eat way to much nibble is my problem, but you know what i am a work in progress,i know lots of people have done so much better then me,but some have done so much worst then me!!!!!! i will do this and keep it off i have 4 pounds that keep coming back i lose gain ect but i keep it in check never do i want to weigh 238 again never!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i would do this surgery again and again thanks to all my friends for support!!!!!!! i have my year weight in on oct 11 th wish me luck i hope they aren't mad that i didn't reach 100 lbs mark!!!!! takecare all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so i am back tracking what the heck!!!!!!!! 1 am 155 was down to 151 .i am eating to many times a day not working out! i only have 20 lbs to go a nd this is the hardest yet! i have to write this down to get myself on track i loved the first days of surgery it was just falling off now ,i am fighting to keep it off feeling like a failure ,no body understands in my family at all what i am going through .this is hard i feel like i can't even do weight lost surgery right .next month is 1 year! but i am not were i want to be 135lbs i won't give up please give me any advice i need support thanks everyone ps found out i am going to be a grandma so excited!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello,well almost 10 months out i weigh 153 have 13 pounds to go love all the weight i have lost,i have lost 87 pound hard to believe i wear a 6-8 size clothes alot of lose skin but it is tightning up really slowly but i have faith i will get there i have only lost since my 7 month check up is 6 pounds but hey at least i am still losing but slow i am proud of my self this has been so hard i thought that it would fall off but i have had to work at this to.would do this again all blog more good luck everyone!!!!!

Hello stuck at the same as 7 months but all get there been sick but feel better gained 5 pounds but now got it all off need to keep my mouth shut but i have faith all get there don't have much to lose so maybe thats why its getting so hard well still would do this again in a heartbeat! no more sleep apnea no machine so happy!!!!

Hello, 7 months out down to 157  82 pounds gone!! hard to believe i wear 8 and 10 now and med shirts now i can work 12 days a month everything is good my hair is getting thicker and longer again, it was so worth it! takecare Deanna

Well time goes fast i now have lost 52 pounds it was hard but i got there now i still need to lose 46 to 50 i want to go to 135, i weigh 185 it has been years!!!! since i have been that low my family say i look good but i still can't see much,but i am getting there,i am still having problems with protein yuck!! but i think thats is why i am stuck on 52 i know its alot but i really need more i worry i am failing so thats why i blog to look back, wish me luck takecare Deanna

hello had my two month appointment on nov 25 2009 at uc davis in sacramento.i weighted 202.8 so that was 35 pound loss,i have been stuck on 34 pounds for a week bad food choices then went to my drs app and i finally lost my 1 pound then the next day was thanksgiving lost 1 more pound to be 36 pounds yeah! i was stressing about not having lost like 50 pounds ect.by two months but my pa at ucdavis said i was right on track,because i started out at 237.5 the less you have to lose the slower it goes but you know that don't sink into my brain, but hey i woke up this morning and had a wow !!!!!!!!!! moment i broke below 200lbs i now weigh 199.5 so i did a little dance 50 pounds to go. this has been hard but when was the last time i could lose 38 pounds,my blood pressure is all messed up since the surgery,i have congested heart failure,my blood pressure always runs a little high but not bad well since i got the surgery they took me off all meds except one heart pill well i am now back on 4 again was on 9 so i hope it gets better,can't get a picture to go back on my avatar,we live in the country the computer runs so slow sucks!!! well i am trying to post more often as a journal so i can look back and say wow,i went through that and be happy to be pass that! hope all my oh friends are well happy holidays Deanna

Hello! well it was 1 month on oct 29,its been a exciting but also hard road,some days i am so happy with my progress but then there is days i will feel like such a failure,its hard, i have lost 25 pounds! yeah! but then i feel i could have done so much better,i don't know if i am on track,i weighted 251 lbs in the hospital from the water and gas ,that was fun not! i was 237.5 when i started day of surgery i am now 212.0 ,people are noticing my face and tummy butt look smaller.i am so afraid i am not going to lose any more weight been stuck at 25 lbs for 4 days, my problem is 3 things fluid intake, protein i am really bad at .nibbling bad bad bad!!! i wish i didn't have to cook i have been walking but need to exercise more going to exercise after i finish this,my stomach is still healing.otherwise i feel good cleaned my house so good yesterday! i had to blog so i can look back later and say yeah i made it though that!!! one hr at a time,i know all always have bends in the road ,wish me luck takecare everyone Deanna

Hi i am now on the lossers bench i had my surgery sept 29.2009 can't believe it ,so sore right now lost 11 pounds i don't know if i am on track with the amount should it be more,trying to do protein but hate it! we will see how i do,i am so afraid i am not going to lose weight,wish me luck it is hard eating one way and the family another and i have to cook,just the head hunger right now got to get through it i cry alot i am learning one day left for the blood clot shots ready for that to end!!

Hi been working on getting surgery been trying to get it for 2 years,i switched to UcDavis in sacramento Dr molhamed ali I HAVE ONE MORE APPOINTMENT!!! with the crazy Dr then i will get my surgery Date they in the begining gave me Dec 22-09 but as you get all your stuff done they bump you up earlier so excited i hope it is sept or oct wish me luck miss all my online friends
