I am 10 years out now. I have gained about 50 pounds back from my lowest weight. i got below goal weight. I am overweight again. Yuck... I am a 16-18 now ...

 

I went to the endocrinologist this week and i am maintaining my thyroid finally. Hope to maintain or loose some of the extra i have put on. I am a 16 now.....

 

wow, time flies. I am now 9 years out. I have gained and now i am 35 pounds overweight again. I am trying to get my thyroid regulated still, we do not absorb meds like normal people so i am on my third thyroid med to see if i can get this one in my system. I have been doing great. Working and enjoying life. I found i like to cruise. I am about to go on my 5th cruise in March. I hope everyone is doing great on their journey. I would do it again in a heartbeat. That seems to be what everyone asks. Would you do it again. YES. my daughters had the surgery also. They are fine also.

I cannot believe it has been 7 years now. I have had an eventful year. I had to kill my thyroid with  a radioactive pill. I now take thyroid meds for the rest of my life. Yes i have gained more weight. I blame it on my thyroid. The doctor says lack of exercise.
LOL  it was always easy for someone else to tell us to loose and exercise.

I am a size 14 now. I am fine with it. I always said a 14 was my goal. I was a 4-6 for a while and then a 8-10 and now a 14. wow.

He increased my meds this past month to see if i can stabalize my weight.

I sure hope so

I have a new grandbaby boy. Hunter James. he is 5 months now.....

It has been 6 years. I now way 155 pounds. I gained some in the last year.

Well i went to the support group meeting last night. I recognized one face.
4 Gastric and the rest were banders.

well, It is the end of April and time to pull out the shorts and capri pants.
Mine are too small.
I have bloomed in the rear.
Lol
I am now in 10-12 instead of 6-8.
I took a huge pile to the resale shop.
I am up 30 pounds from my lowest size.
this thyroid problem is crazy with my metabolism.
I hope to loose it again.

well, it is January 14th.
time flies.
I am doing well.

I am loosing slowly the weight i gained.
i am up about 20 pounds from my original loss of 152 pounds.
Not bad after 5 years.
