Thirumalairaj Jayakumar
"My surgeon's name was Dr.Jayakumar. My first impression of him was that he was a nice person and was willing to do whatever it took to help me lose the weight. My impression always stayed the same about him. The office staff was very kind. A lot of the staff members had the surgery and to me that told me that if his staff trusted him then I should not worry about anything. I feel that anyone wanting to have a WLS should know that you better be prepared for him to be honest with you. Dr. Jayakumar told me at first that I would have poor results becuase I was not losing enough weight and that I really should come to some of the aftercare meetings. I have never went to any of the aftercare meetings, due to me living far from Houston, but I do talk to alot of the aftercare members and they always give me good insight about the program. Well about the risk of surgery, Dr. J did state that with any surgery there are risk, but assured me that I did not have anything to worry about. I was a little scared, but put my faith in God and knew everything worked out. I would rate Dr. J and his office staff a ten because without them, I would not be where I am at now and where I know I am headed."
