"My first impression was that he was warm and caring. After my surgery my impression changed completely. He only came to see me in the hospital once and was very dismissive when I told him I was having trouble breathing. I basically pawned me off on the residents who were horrible and didn't listen to me at all. I told them repeatedly I couldn't breathe, they never listened and eventually dishcarged me. I left and went to another ER and had several blood clots in my lungs and one in my leg. I easily could have had a stoke, heart attack or died. While I was in the second hospital (Eagon didn't go there) my doctor did my leak test and pulled my drain. When I got out I call Dr. Eagon to see when he wanted to see me and he said 6 weeks. I felt like he didn't give a damn about me. Overall I would rate him very poor and say he is in it for the money. The nurses at Barnes suck, you get terrible treatment, his surgical competence seems to have been good. Thank God for something. It seems like an idiot could have figured out I had blood clots. "
"They were very, very short staffed. Without my family and friends I would have been miserable and in some situations in danger. Despite having someone with me and advocating they still discharged me with blood clots and I wound up at the ER at a nother hospital the next day. I easily could have died. This was the resident who discharged me's fault. Of course Dr. Eagon is responsible for him. "
