Hey all, not new to site but havent been on in a long time and didnt do anything with it then. Everytime I thought it would work out to get surgery it fell apart. FINALLY I got back on track and had first appointment today with Dr.Ahuja in Herrin Illinois. Him and his staff was awesome! They made me feel so comfortable, very imformative, very helpful. He gave me a list of test to get done so I will be making first of MANY appointments Monday. Then I go back in 2 weeks to see where things stand. Im so excited and so hopeful everything will be fine!

I think I finally have enough money saved to get the Lap Band!!! The hospital quoted me a price of about 19,000 dollars for pretty much everything except labs and chest x-rays. Did anyone have any more xtra out of pocket expenses? Did anyone find it was more then this? Please let me know!
