Ok friends it has been 5 years since my surgery I am still holding at 118, I started this journey at 231 as you can see from my pictures. It is a life changing surgery and you have to change with it. People think it is an easy way out. it is not. You have to remind yourself every day what to eat when to eat and what not to eat. i still have trouble with sugar, eat it= dump it, after stomach discomfort. So i stay sugar free as much as possible, gas is ALWAYS embarressing, but I can control it by what I eat, you find what causes it and cut back when you know your going out someplace. Red meat or really any meat at all smells like road kill coming out as gas. (Hey just being honest here).
All in all I would do this again, I take no medicine, all I take is vitamins, 2 in the morning and 2 at night (Gummies) they stay in your system longer. When I have to take antibiotics I ask for liquid, taste is aweful but works better, same when I need kidney infection meds.. My husband is amazing and my kids and grandkids as well.
WHAT a journey in deed, worth every minute.
