Hey Donna, I'm kinda new here. I have an appointment for the seminar on March 13th and am looking so forward to it. You look great!! Is everything still going good for you? Hope all is well. I noticed you have BlueCare insurance also and wondered if you had any trouble getting approved and if they also pay for the aftercare. I've been reading and from what I understand it is $3000.00. Anyway, if you don't mind me asking, was your out of pocket expensive? I really need to have this surgery done, but can't really get any information out of BlueCare when I call them. Hope you are feeling better! I experienced a really bad bout of nausea after my last surgery (been through 3 so far - no nausea with the other two)... I know what it can be like! Yuck! I finally got some Zofran in my IV... that really, really REALLY did the trick! I'm not sure if you've had this yet... it's a new med and I had to ask for it specifically. I had three huge shots in my arms and legs before that.... the nausea came back! The Zofran really worked for me... I hope it stops soon! All the best, Teresa

Donna is not doing so well today. This is her 2nd day post op and she's having a hard time keeping any fluids down. By now, she should be getting up and walking a little, and drinking clear liquids, but they are having a hard time controlling her nausea. Please give her some well wishes, she really needs them. Angel flying in~~Donna is out of surgery. It went fine. She is in a fair amount of pain and they'd just given her pain meds when I left, so she should be good to go. I'll check back on her tonight, then again tomorrow. Hurray for Donna~now on the losing side!
