I am 26 years old and have battled with my weight my entire life. It has been a constant battle. I have tried just about every reputable and every fad diet out there. I went to my first Weight Watchers meeting when I was 10 years old.
I have thought about WLS for a few years now. I have been working with my doctor for a while now on trying to lose weight. But, same story--lose a little, gain back even more. So, the decision was made to go the WLS route. I am in the beginning steps of the process. I will be attending my orientation meeting on Sept. 9th. I feel confident in the procedure. My mom went through it in October 2006 and I saw her major transformations--physical and health.
I can't wait to have the procedure done. I want to stop standing up against the wall of being, and start living life the way its suppose to be!
