Hi Wendy, I am thrilled that you are home! You sound so good thru your post. You have been thru it girlfriend. But you have come thru and now can really start to heal and recover. I was glad to meet you at the DS support meeting on Sat. at the hospital. Thanks for your input. Leslie E.

(Chris still here, posting while she's in the hospital) They've decided to keep her in ICU and extra day to monitor something, but she should be in a normal room Monday. She's been drinking plenty of water, and has been walking alot. She had a problem (symptoms of dumping) with the Crystal Lite, but I suspect if it was more watered down she could tolerate it. (But she doesn't want to try again anytime soon, says that the dumping bit is awful) She's looking and feeling much better today though. Thanks to all supporting her!

Hi all! I just wanted to let you all know that Wendy had the surgery today, and is doing fine... She's in ICU (due to the c-pap and all), but should only be in the hospital thru Monday. She's in a little pain of course, but otherwise is doing great! Thanks so much for everyone's support. -Chris (posting for her while she's in the hospital)
