Hi Gabby, I am scheduled for my surgery o May 17th and the cost for me is 10,200. You have to pay the 500 deposit in order to confirm your date. I can't tell you if I will be able to come up with all the money or not. I sent the deposit out of desperation, and I have about 4000 right now. I think we have been in the same situation. I have wanted and needed this for so long, but it has always been out of reach for me. I will pray that we are able to pull this off, have a great Friday. Email me any time if you want to! Suzi

Barbara Thanks for your post. You helped make my decision for me. I have the chance to work at Walmart and now will not except the offer if their insurance doesn't cover WLS. When will these employers get a clue!!!! Thanks again, Kim

I'm sorry to hear of your disappointment with your insurance company. I will keep you in my prayers and pray that things will change. Maybe you can file an appeal and win this time. Don't give up completely. Anything can happen. God Bless...

Hi Barbara, I wanted to say please don't give up if possible. It can be a long difficult road to travel. Your doing such wonderful things. I admire you for traveling this far. Since I wont be having the surgery and in the mean time since I have given up I thought I would use this little page to say Thank you to all have given me suppoort in the past. You think a big major company like the one I work for would want what is best for their employees. Thank you again for your support and good wishes to all.
