"My first impression of Dr. Deziel was that he instantly put my nerves at ease. He came into the room and within the first minute or two....I felt relaxed. He is very kind, informative,funny, and educated his curriculum vitae on his website speaks for itself. I feel I have found one of the best. His office staff are equally impressive. Truly kind people. Their office is totally on the ball. There are no dislikes to list. He spent an hour explaining the surgery with drawings, percentages, no sugar coating post-op life. Dr. Deziel is tops!!!!! "
"I have only done my pr-op testing. But, I was in the hospital a total of 2 hours(1 being my Dr. appt.) I had to have an ekg, bloodwork, and an X-ray. These were on 3 seperate floors of the hospital....I had thes all done in an hours time AMAZING! I gave an Average rating for priivacy because the registration desk area is cramped and loud so you have to speak loudly so eveyone can hear you. I gave the parking a poor because it is rather expensive..but I am from out of town...This may be average for Chicago..It cost us 9.00 to park in the garage. They do offer valet for about $.50 more but it is timed just like the garage. They do not validate parking for patients. "
"Was Very Nice! Told me he would refer me. I called the next day to tell the office what surgeon I wanted referred to and got the run around. Then contrary to his coments the day before.....He refused to write due to medical necessity. He wrote on a script...referring to surgeon for weight loss options PER PATIENT REQUEST. I feel he was probably put off by me not wanting to use a local surgeon. But everyone knows how important medical necessity is. ***update*** I have been seeing Dr. Sumer more lately because my surgeons office is not really addressing any health probs. I have been having...However, If it had not been for Dr. Sumer and his Nurse Practitioner Lisa Ballou...I probably would not have made it through the last year. Why I have these spells is still a mystery. But they have been diligently trying to find out what is wrong and being very supportive. My surgeons office just says .."cant be because of the surgery" Thanks ICPR in Pekin, Illinois "
