Hi everyone i had my first appt. with the nutritionist and Greg the exercise man. Kristin ( nutritionist) is very nice. She really helped me she has put me on a 1500 calorie diet. Which isn't bad. Greg the exercise man or should i say boy. He is really young but really nice and likes to make jokes. He has given me some exercises to do. ( fun fun). and on my next visit with him i will be doing the treadmill which i dread.

I had my first Dr. appointment today. Everything went well the Dr. and staff are all very nice.I have to do a 6 month supervised diet, pulmonary function test, H. pylori screen, lipid panel, psychology clearance, and 1 support group meeting also i have to lose 10lbs before surgery. Last but not least i have to quit smoking. They want me to start quitting smoking now so when i have surgery i don't have to worry about the smoking and the food all at the same time. Which does make sense.

I finally got the call for my first consultation with the Dr. ( so excited) I scheduled my first appointment with the Dr. plus they also scheduled my second appointment with the dietitian and the exercise fellow man that 2 weeks felt like eternity. They even did the research on my insurance my primary insurance doesn't cover it but my secondary does they said its very good coverage better than my primary isn't that something.

Well i went to the seminar listen to all the pros and cons of each surgery. At first i was leaning towards the lap-band after all the Dr. said i want the RNY i think that would be better for me. Then i sent in all the paper work Sept 13 2008. Well after 2 weeks went by so i called them cause i didn't hear anything and I'm a very impatient person the lady told me if you were at the seminar they will call i just have to be patient. HELLO I'm not a patient person. So now all i can do is wait.
