Wishing you warm thoughts. I had my surgery on 11/3/00 and every day it gets better. i had an open ryn and but with a lap i hear its much easier to get moving again. Good Luck I will send up a prayer for you Lori

I have my wings on again to be Jamelle's angel.We're gonna get it done this time. Please go to Jamelle's surgery page and wish her luck.Even tho she won't need it. Her surgery will be Wednesday at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey--201-996-2000.

You are about to give yourself the greatest gift you could ever imagine. My surgery was 7 weeks ago and I must say it is the best gift I have ever given myself. I have dropped 40 lbs and feel and look much better. I am much healthier and have not had to take any blood pressure medication, nothing for acid reflux or a fluid pill since the surgery. Hi Jamelle! The Alvarado Hostipatl WLS staff (Drs. Wittgrove and Clark) specialize in Lap procedure...only one catch: They're in San Diego and you're not. Good luck on your research!
