Hi everyone thank you so much for all of your support. My surgeon decided to keep my surgery on Thursday morning. I am very excited and of course scared but I have put my faith in God that he guide my surgeon and my recovery. Joanne

Joanne, My neame is Tonya Appleton and I had surgery here in Bakersfield on Jan 16th. I was in San Juaquin for two days. I am here if you have any questions at all. Email me at [email protected] and we can chat. I also have IM its tpkismet for yahoo if you want to chat live. On monday everything goes so quick so as strange as it sounds just relax and prepare your mind for when you wake up. There is not a lot of pain and you are up with hours afterwards. Remember the more you walk the better you feel. I had lap rny and I only stayed two days. I was shocked but now 5 days later I am able to care for myself and i even get board because i dont lay around and i can't do everything I want to. You are going to be fine and I would love to be your angel if you would like one. please get ahold of me so I can help ease your mind. I will pray for you and keep you in my thoughts all day as I am sipping my protein shake and chew, chew, chewing my mashed potatoes :) God Bless Tonya
