I've been researching wls for a couple of years.  First I was going to go with the band, but am very glad I didn't as I learned more about the complications and failure rates.  Then I thought the sleeve would be good, but due to severe reflux problems it looks like the RNY will be the best fit.

I'm just not sure it this is worth the changes I'll have to make in my lifestyle at this point in my life.  I'm 63 and although I hope this surgery will extend my lifespan there are no guarantees.  So I'm having trouble making the decision to move forward with this.
