Yesterday I found out that there was a problem in the ER that the nurse did not notice or did not care to notice.  I have an umbilical hernia and another hernia above. I still don't feel very good. Going to see a gastrologist at 3 this afternoon. I also have an appointment with my surgeon tomorrow afternoon that is 90 minutes away. The problem with tomorrow is that we are on the west coast of florida and the hurricane coming could cause problems. Anyway I am praying to Jesus to help me.

I'm a little over four weeks out now and not hungry at all.  At the same time I paniced this week. I have a hernia and I thought it was going to hurt my new stomach for some reason so I ran to surgeon.  He said not to worry about it for now. So I took a 59 mile drive because I'm nuts.  According to my scale at home I've lost 19lbs which is great.  Lately it is falling off.  I'm finding that most of the head games with food are gone and I'm just not hungry although I have to watch it.  I only at jello and icepops yesterday.  I got up this morning took my vitamins and drank five ounces of a protien shake.  I have my water bottle half filled and ate an ice pop for a snack.  I plan to drink the rest of the protien shake for lunch.  Most of the food on my Docs list I dislike and me and milk don't get along now.  I've switched to Soy when I can handle it. Scrambled eggs do okay and that is more than likely what I will eat tonight.  The nutritionist said we could eat one cup of food at our meals but 1/2 is all I can get in.  Next week I can eat some canned veggies and maybe that will be a little better.  Well more from this old lady later.

7 Days after surgery and getting up better each morning.  Slept in my own bed last night but tossed and turned.  Trying to drink my liquids better today. I hope I can get to church tonight. I'm having my hair washed and trimed this afternoon so I'm not so hot.  I picked up all the doggie toys all over the living room and sprinkled Pet Fresh down so it smells better in the house. I've been really mean to my husband.  That needs to stop since he is an okay guy and is vacuming the Pet Fresh up now.  So it is nice to Harry day.  If people say they are not in pain or uncomfortable after surgery they got a blessing from Heaven. Yes they did get a blessing because I could have growled when I woke up and what is this stuff about leaving the breathing tube down my throat when I wake up after surgery. My my my

Today is Mon. the 13th and I will be in surgery on Wed. I'm excited and can not wait.  At the same time I'm praying that it works out okay. I would like to feel light and have less weight on me pulling on my artheritis.

Surgery is August 15, but I now need a root canal and I'm going to use intravenous conscious sedation to handle the pain and fright.  I just sat through 4 hours with the dentist preparing a bridge with just novacaine and now 2 hours having a root canal is just to much.  So I have a call into the Doctors offices nurse to see if that will effect my surgery.  If the surgery has to be put off a bit so be it and I will put it in Gods hands.  I have fibro and it seems I'm like a yo-yo with this desease as well and now I'm having a flare up.  I"m not in to much pain but very tired and my head a bit cloudy. I hope once I can get 100lbs off I will feel a lot better and the fibro will be better controlled.  Well that's all for today.  Huggs
