My name is Christina. I am 35 and weigh about 295 lb, I am 5' 2.5". I am happily married to Kevin, for over 10 years . I have been overweight most of my life. When I was very small I was taken to the dr and they said I was too skinny... go figure. Kevin and I see surgery very differently. He opposes it, thinking I will die and I know I will die if I don't have it. When we met in 1996, I weighed about 175. Each year I just keep piling it on. I have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, Petella femoral syndrome in my knees (my kneecaps don't sit properly so its painful to walk), and I have really bad back pain and joint pain. I know this is a long and tiring road, but it will be worth it. I was just approved SS Disability, and will receive Medicare and possibly Medicaid.
I have always wanted children... and after 11 years of trying, its a no-go. But Kevin was married before and had 2 kids with her and I like to call them my own... They are GREAT kids. Nikolas is 17 and Stefaney is 15. I love them kids so much.... :)
