Hello everyone... I am so happy to be here and be able to talk to people that are in the same position I am. Well let me start my letting all of my new friend know excatly were I am in my process. I have met with a surgeon, and discussed the lap band and bypass surgery options. I was given a list of appts. that I needed to go to, this they told me was so that i could make sure i was physically eady to have the surgery. I have already met with the cardiologist, had my ekg&ultrasound test done. I also went and had an uppergi test and some exercise test done. I am suppose to meet with the pulminary doctor this thursday. My fingers are crossed that everything still goes well. I still am not fully sure what will happen after I am done with these appts. I guess they will give me a new list of appts. I am so nervous and happy at the same time about this process. i have been overweight for as long as I can remember and I would love to finally be able to run and play with my children and do normal stuff with out being exausted after just 10 mins. As far as which surgery I am going to choose.... I am still trying to figure that one out...lol
