94 lbs gone!!! Still feeling GREAT!!! Bought my first bathing suit in yrs and felt good wearing it on Mothers Day at the pool :)

Almost 80 lbs lost and Im still feeling wonderful...I hike, workout in the gym and I am now training to hike down the Grand Canyon either this fall or early spring next yr. I also am looking into running a 5K sometime this yr and have started to train for that.

I want to start this out with Im happy Ive lost 60 lbs....But....when I see people who have had their surgery around the same time as I did they have lost anywhere between 10 to 20 lbs more then I. Im sad about this I thought my weight loss would have been more at this point :(. some weeks I don't lose anything and when I do lose its only 3 to 4 lbs at a time :(. I don't know what Im doing wrong. Oh and to top it off my hair is falling out in clumps!!! I pray it stops soon because I wont have any hair left :( ! On the bright side I'm still off all my IH meds and I'm doing well, I do feel great other wise :)

Im off all meds and I now 60 lbs lighter!! I hike 3 hrs every other day and the other days Im on the treadmill for 45 min...oh and I do weights. I really wish I did this sooner.

Update....I'm so sorry it took so long

Ok lets start with the day of surgery..well when I woke up....OUCH!!! I was in a lot of pain and my mouth was SO DRY ! After I was fully awake I saw my husband and mom and they had this worried look on their faces... then I got my morphine and out I went again. I was in and out most of the day.
Skip to when I got home...yeah my own bed...so I thought b/c I had more pain. This went on for about a week. Got my drain out started to feel better..just a little
Second week...OMGOSH I feel better, in fact I don't even feel like I had surgery! 10 days out I feel wonderful! Even to this day I feel great this was the best thing I ever done and I wish I did it sooner! Love my Dr and his staff they are all the best! I hike 2 hrs every other day and the days I don't I go to the gym. I have lost 30 LBS in 6 weeks and Im thrilled.
I went to my special eye doc in USC who handles my IH and he is very pleased, swelling is down in my optic nerves and my field vision test was awesome!.....He lowered my meds and wants to see me in 3 months and if all still looks good he wants to take me off all meds!!! Ive been taking them for the last 4 yrs so not to have to take them is going to be so great! My IH symptoms are all but gone...no headaches, swooshing, my neck doesn't hurt and I feel like I have so much energy I haven't felt this way in yrs!!!
I recommend this surgery to anyone it has really changed my life!!

So surgery is 7:30am tomorrow and I have to be there at 5:30am which means I have to get up at 3:30am!!! Anyways Ive been feeling very emotional today cant stop crying. It doesn't help that Im hungry b/c of this liquid diet which is making me light headed and weak

I think the reason Im feeling this way is b/c of my 9 y/o son what "What if's " are creeping in...what if I die and leave my little boy motherless? I'm not afraid of death (I was saved in 2005 ) but I will miss my son and husband SO MUCH!

YAY!!! I was approved on Friday and they called today and gave me the date of Aug. 6th......oh its all moving SO FAST!!!!
