Well, where do you start....I was always a bit on the heavy side, had the butt and the thighs....dieted, dieted and dieted....took diet pills, wow...they were awesome at the time...I had always known about the Gastric Bypass surgery, my mother had it done about 30 years ago. But, I did not think I was that big, that It would be worth me doing....I think that alot of people know they are heavy, but can't admit it.....

I had worked at Maytag, what an experience. I was pulling my back out every week, exhausted after an 8 hour shift, SORE, every bone/joint in my body hurt. It got so bad, that I would call in sick to work, because I was tired. I then got so depressed, I was bad. I had to go through something very personal, and it just killed me inside. I got even more depressed, I sat and cried all of the time, I called into work so much. I had gotten fired.

I think that was a wake up call for me. Right after I got fired, I called my family DR and started the steps for the surgery. I DO NOT REGRET THIS AT ALL. The only thing is that I wish I would of had this done years ago. So many people say it is the easy way out, I certainly disagree. It is more mental than you could imagine, you have your bad days and your good days. But in the long run, it is the best darn thing you could ever do for YOU.

I have two boys, ages 14 and 15. The onlything I regret is that I did not do it while they were young. I could of been there so much more for them.

Thanks,

Crystal
