...............here I am 162lns lighter after on year. I have 20lbs to go to goal and I am not regretting anything. My life has changed for the better and I could not be more greaful for a new life as a healthy person!

Finally....................I made it to the 100s weighing in at 194.4lbs yesterday 9 1/2 months out and 44lbs from goal! I passed the surgeon's goal of 202lbs and I couldn't be happier! Yahoo!!!

So at 9 months out I have lost 135lbs and 50 to go. I am just dying to be in onederland, only 1lbs to go for that and it will be a day to celebrate. I haven't been in the 100s since my senior year of high school which was 13 years ago. So even after all the continued problems I am glad I am making this journey and had the surgery! I hope to be posting in the next few days to say I hit the 100s. Hope everyone is doing well!

Is it normal for the scale to say you gained weight right after surgery? My scale says I gained 9lbs since Monday. I had hernia and bowel repair Tuesday! Is this normal? Will I lose it and how long will it take? Any advice? I can see how swollen my belly is but 9llbs...GEEESUS!!!!

So after being in the hospital 5 out of the last 7 days on and off, I finally had hernia repair and bowel obstruction surgery. Dr. P. also found a 4cm big cyst on my ovary and took care of that too! It's good to be home and know what's wrong with me, hopefully it's all fixed now! I am sore and super tired but not too bad!!!

I am going into tomorrow for a hernia repair, seems my stomach is twisted up! Should be ok as they are going in laproscopic instead of open! Wish me luck. I am scared just because I am a chicken! Dr. C. says it's from losing weight so fast, down 120lbs as of today! I spent 3 days in the hospital last week came home Sunday and then got the call this AM that surgery is tmrw at 330p. I will keep you updated!

I was really bummed that again on Monday the scale didn't move. I decided to get on the scale yesterday and BAM.....4 more lbs gone and that makes it 100lbs gone FOREVER!!! I can't believe it. 25 weeks and 100lbs., gone! I am so happy. I am getting impatient...lol. I want to be at goal but I am being silly I know I will get there!

This is my first week without losing weight. Down 93.5lbs since August 10th. I have generally lost 1-2lbs one week and then the next 5-8lbs. So I'm hoping it will be ok. Any words of wisdom?

I am 8 weeks out today and down a total of 51.8lbs, so I guess 52 lbs...lol. I have had a few ups and downs but I have no regrets as of yet! Back to work in a week and not looking forward to it! BLAH! I've been hitting the gym about 4-5 days a week and it feels good, been hard but good! My fiance and I joined the biggest loser at the gym which is in the doctor's office and it's been fun! I'm looking forward to feeling better in the future!

Well I was doing so well until the last few days and BAM....I'm sick to my stomach and can't eat! I'm finding things feel like they are getting stuck and they weren't before! What do I do? Can this be because I'm not working out yet and/or back to work? Is my mind playing tricks, do I need to get moving on?
