I am sorry that I haven't looked at this page sooner. Thank you for the post. Well you can see that I am a few months late. I have had a marvelous experience with the decision to have this surgery, and with the results. I had no complications from surgery, no ill side effects other than normal. I have became slightly anemic, and have had to start taking vitamin E for dry skin. I try to get enough protein, and some days are better than others, as far as intake. I am finding at this stage that it has became a lot easier to eat, and I really have to watch myself because of bordom. I am at a stage where I am fluctuating between 195-200., Seems that my body is fighting me to maintain itslef at the 200 mark. I am going to be going to my profile and posting a brief summary biography of my experience. I want to start a support group for people here in the part of Arkansas that I live in. I see so far that there is none on the support page for my area. I also want to start support meetings, and begin to hold meetings to encourage others to start a weight loss plan, whether it be for surgery or by dieting. I am planning on doing or starting this very soon.
