Hello and THANK GOD for AUTUM; a rest and renew the old spirit time for me; I have had CFS kick in since summer ended and been fatigued ; back to my naps every afternoon; I am in bed early still and up at 6 or 7 w/ my 9 yr old who awakens me daily.. I have just had a scope done THURS for Stincture? SPelling? I had a tiny bit stretched and now can actually eat 6 small meals; I am 7 1/2 mths out and lost almost 100 bls so far; My workout plan is not the best and I hope to join curves when I get my HERNIA fixed; I JUST FOUND OUT that my pouchy belly on the upper abdomen is from a large hernia; My surgeon is in no hurry to fix it but I cant take the way I look; if anyne else had surgery to fix a hernia from RNY let me know. I am nervous for more surgery. The endoscopic procedure went well; I also am on new meds for ADD/Depression and this takes 4weeks to work ; this is the 4th week. I am weaning down from my other many meds for diabetis, hypertension, depresion, anxiety, etc...I hope to just be on a few meds and lots of VITES. I found JUICEPLUS a wonderful whole food vitamin which has 17 fruits and veggies in the ingred. My newest blood work from summer was wonderful ; i just started on a rx pill for IRON and also Carbonyl Iron; which is absorbed better and no side effects. I drink two shakes a day and eat BALANCE BARS my favorite so far. The sugar in them is ok with my system and I stay clear of fats and milkshake type things. I take my B12 shot every month and also use sublingual b12 daily; i was told to try a whole food vitamin from NATURES PLUS and when I run out of these I take a prenatal vite with extra stuff in it.
I finally went out and bought size 16 jeans w/ a zipper!! FIRST pair in 12 yrs.. really; the lady at the clothing store says you are a 14/16 in stretch jeans; i almost fainted!! I was a size 26 top and 22w in stretch jeans which were TIGHT and not good. I can still wear some of my old clothes as I cant afford new ones yet.
I had my 46th birthday on OCT 3 and got new stuff for this. I am happy with my wt loss and dont feel too flabby since I do the GAZELLE faithfully and also light weight training; I bought a PILATIES stretch rope exerciser which helps with stretching; I have to be careful for my hernia; DONT knwo what to do about working the abs and the hernia; ANY IDEAS?
